Created in 1904, Peter Pan was originally a play. The story was later adapted to a novel in 1911, then made its way to the silver screen in 1924 as a silent film adventure. The play was restaged every year for 10 years after 1904, and each year the script would be tweaked by its playwright J.M. Barrie.
