Read aloud every day. The minority language needs to be seen as something that’s pleasurable to learn. If it comes with the benefit of enjoying stories, the process of learning the language will seem more appealing.
In order to ensure your child is regularly engaging with the minority language, specialists recommend reading to them for 15 minutes each and every day. It is the most important form of practice you can introduce to your child. Without this, it may be far more difficult for them to learn the language.
