The first on our list is Castform, a mon based on the Japanese yōkai Amefurikozō. Short and stocky creatures, these fellas are often depicted with an umbrella on their heads and paper lanterns in hand. They are said to be children employed by the Chinese god of rain, ‘Ushi’! They carry small gifts for passers-by and, in more modern tales, it’s said that if you steal their hat and wear it, you’ll never be able to take it off...
