Northwest of Beijing you’ll find a spooky place called ‘Wonderland’, a derelict would-be amusement park that was halted during construction and has been left to rot. It was set to be China’s biggest theme park, but disagreements with the local community meant that the vision was never completed, and the images that remain are creepy and haunting.
