Many scenes in The Wizard of Oz ended up on the cutting room floor. A dance sequence, in which Dorothy and her friends are attacked by an insect called The Jitterbug and dance the Jitterbug uncontrollably, was taken out of the film. Apparently, producers felt that including the dance scene would date the film. What do you think?
