Did you know that Indian cinema has been going for a mighty 100 years? The first motion picture in India was called ‘The Wrestlers’ and screened way back in 1899. It featured a portrait photographer called Harischandra Sakharam Bhatavdekar in black and white– a bit different from the craziness and colour of modern day Bollywood.
