An estimated 1 million dogs in the U.S. have been named primary beneficiary in their owners' wills. Cats also appear in wills but reportedly they are much more reckless with the money, choosing to spend it on novelty items such as squishy mice, feathers and anything that allows for hours of frantic playing.
